boy group Stray Kids will be making a comeback in early June, according to reports from Korean media on April 24th.
The group's new album will be released about eight months after their previous mini-album, "MAXIDENT," which was released in October of last year.
Stray Kids have reportedly already finished filming their new music video and are currently preparing for their upcoming comeback.
With their previous work, "MAXIDENT," Stray Kids saw explosive growth and broke several of their own records.
Within a month of its release, the album had surpassed 3 million cumulative sales on the charts, setting a new "triple million seller" record.
The group also demonstrated their global popularity by simultaneously topping the U.S. Billboard main charts "Billboard 200" and "Artist 100" following the release of the album. This success followed their previous album, "ODDINARY," which had also ranked first on the U.S. Billboard main album chart "Billboard 200."
On April 2nd, Stray Kids completed their second world tour, "MANIAC," which consisted of 42 shows in 18 regions around the world. This tour marked the second time in K-pop boy group history that a group had entered a U.S. stadium.
As the group has shown remarkable growth with each album, there is much anticipation around the kind of record that Stray Kids will achieve with their new album set to release in June.
