The group BTS has released its new song "The Planet" on the 12th.
This marks the first time in 11 months that BTS has released a new group song, rather than a solo track, since the anthology album "Proof" was released in June of last year.
"The Planet" serves as the title track of the OST for the domestic 3D animation "BASTIONS." It features a cheerful bass and a melody brimming with hope. Big Hit Music, the agency representing BTS, introduced the song by saying, "The personalities of the BTS members, each with their own unique color, blend together with refreshing vocals."
"BASTIONS" tells the story of a rookie hero who saves the Earth from crisis and grows into a true hero by exposing the identity of the main culprit behind environmental destruction. The lyrics of the OST's title song, "The Planet," convey a message about the preciousness of the Earth we live on, in line with the story of "BASTIONS."
"Besties" will air on SBS, a Korean broadcaster, at 7:30 a.m. on the 14th.
