Lee Jung-jae has captured the attention of global viewers through Lucasfilm's new series, "The Acolyte."
On April 7th (local time), the "Star Wars Celebration" event was held at the Excel Center in London, England, where the new "Star Wars" universe was unveiled. Lee Jung-jae appeared with the production team and cast of "The Acolyte" and received cheers from the audience. The first teaser for "The Acolyte" was released at the event, with Lee Jung-jae describing his role as a "Master Jedi." He also explained that he felt emotional during the action scene where he caught the "Light Saber" for the first time.
Other Star Wars series by Lucasfilm were also unveiled at the event, with world-renowned stars in attendance, including Lucasfilm's representative Kathleen Kennedy, John Favreau, James Mangold, actors Diego Luna, Adriana Arhona, Kyle Sawyer, Genevieve Orelli, Andy Serkis, Jude Law, Daisy Ridley, and Mads Mikkelsen.
The "Star Wars Celebration" event will run until the 10th, with Ewan McGregor, Hayden Christensen, Giancarlo Esposito, and Gwendoline Christie scheduled to attend.
On the live stage with actor Amandla Stenberg, who also works on "The Acolyte," Lee Jung-jae expressed his happiness in showing the trailer of "The Acolyte" to the audience, stating that he believes it will be the most interesting story to come out of the "Star Wars" universe.
Lucasfilm's "The Acolyte," starring Lee Jung-jae, will be exclusively released on Disney+ in 2024.
