RE;CODE, the upcycling-based fashion brand of Kolon Industries FnC, has announced a collaboration with K-POP in partnership with SM Entertainment for the current season. The aim of this collaboration is to promote sustainability and the positive influence of upcycling by repurposing the costumes worn by K-POP artists during their performances.
The upcycling project will use stage costumes from Super Junior, EXO, and NCT to produce T-shirts made from recycled fabric. The costumes will be dismantled, and patches of the fabric will be designed and applied to the T-shirts. The design of the T-shirts is unique, with only one design available, and each T-shirt has the number "1" marked on it, representing the sustainable aspect of upcycling.
The collaboration upcycling T-shirt will be available at various locations, including Catwalk Festa, Itaewon Series Corner RE;CODE Store, and Kolon Mall at Dongdaemun Design Plaza starting March 3rd.
