Introduction to the meeting host

RNC Social Club Meeting

Hello, everyone! Welcome to the RNC Social Club.

I’m David, your host. As the YouTuber behind DKDKTV, with 795,000 subscribers, I’ve had the pleasure of producing Ramyun and Chill – a show where five Korean men and five non-Korean women go on a four-day date. From the awkward silences to the unexpected sparks, it’s always a wild ride. But today, we’re shifting gears to focus on a different kind of connection – the one that comes from making new friends and learning about each other’s cultures. So let’s get ready to swap stories, share laughs, and see where the night takes us!

Purpose and Mission

At the RNC Social Club, our mission is to foster a community that brings together Koreans and foreigners from all walks of life.

We believe that connecting with people who have different backgrounds and experiences can broaden our perspectives and enrich our lives.

Imagine this: You’re at a dinner party, and you strike up a conversation with someone who grew up on the other side of the world. As you chat, you realize that despite your different upbringings, you share a passion for music, a love for hiking, and a desire to make the world a better place. Suddenly, the world feels a little smaller, and your own life a little richer.

That’s the kind of experience we strive to create at the RNC Social Club. Whether you’re a local resident or a visitor to Korea, we invite you to join us and become part of our vibrant community. Whether you’re looking to make new friends, or simply enjoy a fun day out, you’ll find kindred spirits here. So come on in, and let’s connect!

Discussion Topics

We will be diving into a diverse range of topics that touch on various aspects of life in Korea. From navigating the bustling streets of Seoul to discovering the hidden gems in smaller cities and towns, we’ll cover it all. But that’s not all, we’ll also be exploring social issues that affect our communities, sharing our own experiences, and learning from each other’s unique perspectives.

Let’s say, for example, you’re a foreigner living in Korea, and you’ve been struggling to make meaningful connections with the locals. Through our discussions, you might learn about the cultural nuances that shape Korean social interactions and gain insights into how to bridge the gap between different perspectives. Or maybe you’re a Korean national who wants to expand your horizons and learn more about the experiences of people from around the world. Our discussions will provide a safe and inclusive space to share and learn.

So get ready to open your minds, challenge your assumptions, and connect with others in a meaningful way. Whether you’re here to share your own stories, listen to others, or just enjoy some lively conversation, we’re excited to have you with us. Let’s get started!

Duration

We’ll be spending the two hours exploring some exciting and thought-provoking topics. We know that your time is valuable, so we promise to make the most of every minute we have together.

Imagine this: You’re at a networking event, you want to make a good impression, but you’re not sure where to start. That’s where our meeting comes in – we’ll provide a space for you to connect with like-minded individuals, exchange ideas, and build relationships that could last a lifetime.

Whether you’re here to learn, share, or simply enjoy the company of others, we’ve got you covered. Our discussions will be engaging, informative, and, most importantly, fun. So sit back, relax, and get ready to connect with some amazing people. We can’t wait to see where our conversations take us!

This meeting was so much fun! Before arriving to the meeting I wasn’t sure how it was going to be. But I am glad I went. I got to meet amazing people from different parts of the world. We got to hear each others stories of what we do and how we came to Korea. And then during the meeting we had discussions about different topics or experiences while living in Korea. Sadly it was only two hours I really wanted the meeting to be a longer time. Even David and HJ were such nice people. They provided us with delicious snacks and great coffee! After the event some of us went to drink more coffee at a cafe. I think overall from this event I have made some friends 🙂 I can’t wait for the next one!! Whoever reads this post should definitely join! You will meet amazing people!!
