As the YouTuber behind DKDKTV, with 795,000 subscribers, I’ve had the pleasure of producing Ramyun and Chill – a show where five Korean men and five non-Korean women go on a four-day date. From the awkward silences to the unexpected sparks, it’s always a wild ride. But today, we’re shifting gears to focus on a different kind of connection – the one that comes from making friends and learning about how to make makgeolli, a traditional Korean liquor. So let’s get ready to swap stories, share laughs, and see where the night takes us!

◎The host of Makgeolli Class

Hi, my name is Joe Kim and I’m the founder of Baekusaeng Makgeolli. I’m also a Korean alcohol sommelier with a deep love for well-being and healthy food.

I was born in Ecuador and raised in the United States, but I always felt a strong connection to my Korean roots. When I finally made my way to Korea, I knew that I wanted to find a way to connect with my heritage. That’s when I discovered the craft of making Makgeolli.

Our book, classes, and online content have reached out to makgeolli enthusiasts all over the world, and it makes me happy when people have found help through us, and even start experimenting and making their own makgeolli creations.

I’m passionate about introducing Korea’s rice wine culture to the rest of the world, so If you are interested in learning more about our services please do not hesitate to get in touch with us.

◎ Purpose and Mission

At the RNC Social Club mission is to foster a community that brings together from all walks of life. But at EP.5, We will focus on experiencing Korean traditional liquor makgeolli and sharing our experiences!

Learn how to make your own Craft Makgeolli with Seasonal Fruits. With Baekusaeng you will discover the art of brewing Makgeolli using traditional methods. Not only will you learn the science behind Korean fermentation, but you'll also take home your own Makgeolli to ferment and enjoy. Join us for a fun and unique cultural experience! And the class includes a blind tasting session.

◎ Admission

Admission includes simple drinks(Coffee or juice) and class fees. This amount is used to provide customers with good friends and great experiences!

◎ Duration

We'll be spending the two hours exploring the art of brewing Makgeolli using traditional methods. We know that your time is valuable, so we promise to make the most of every minute we have together.

Whether you're here to learn, share, or simply enjoy the company of others, we've got you covered. Our Class will be engaging, informative, and, most importantly, fun.

So sit back, relax, and get ready to connect with some amazing people. We can't wait to see where our Makgeolli class take us!

After a two-hour meeting, a meal meeting may be held on the schedule of the host or member.

And people are free to finish the Makgeolli that will be given in class which will be quite generous.

You can also buy food at a nearby traditional market and have a meal with makgeoli! However, in this case, each participant must purchase a bottle of Baekusaeng Makgeoli's makgeoli. :)
