Introduction to the meeting host

Welcome to the RNC Social Club.

EP4 will focus on the dynamics of international relationships and how to overcome challenges.

Whether you are currently in an international relationship, looking for one, or have experience in one – all are welcome to share your views and ideas on the subject.

Hello everyone, it’s a pleasure to be your host for this meeting on international relationships. My name is Danny Kim, and as you may know, I operate the YouTube channel DKDKTV, amassing 790,000 subscribers. Additionally, I have hosted programs on KBS, MBC, and Naver, and currently serve as the representative of Dank Studio.

However, what particularly qualifies me to lead this discussion is the fact that I am currently in an international relationship. Having experienced firsthand the unique joys and challenges that come with dating someone from a different culture, I am excited to share my insights with all of you.

And if you’re still not convinced that I’m the ideal host for this meeting, I encourage you to take a look at my latest project: ‘Ramyun and Chill‘. This program brings together 5 Korean men and 5 foreign women for a 4-night, 5-day dating experience, and the results are both heartwarming and hilarious. With my experience and expertise, I am confident that we can have a productive and engaging conversation about international relationships.

Purpose and Mission

At the RNC Social Club, our mission is to foster a community that brings together Koreans and foreigners from all walks of life.

We believe that connecting with people who have different backgrounds and experiences can broaden our perspectives and enrich our lives.

Imagine this: You’re at a party, and you strike up a conversation with someone who grew up on the other side of the world. As you chat, you realize that despite your different upbringings, you share a passion for music, a love for hiking, and a desire to make the world a better place. Suddenly, the world feels a little smaller, and your own life a little richer.

That’s the kind of experience we strive to create at the RNC Social Club. Whether you’re a local resident or a visitor to Korea, we invite you to join us and become part of our vibrant community. Whether you’re looking to make new friends, or simply enjoy a fun day out, you’ll find kindred spirits here. So come on in, and let’s connect!

The purpose and content of the meeting

Welcome to our meeting on international relationships, where we’ll be delving into some of the unique challenges that come with dating someone from a different culture. As someone who’s been in an international relationship myself, I’m excited to facilitate this discussion and hear all of your thoughts and experiences on the subject.

First up, let’s tackle the age-old question: are international relationships more difficult than non-international relationships? While there’s no one-size-fits-all answer, I think it’s fair to say that dating someone from a different culture can come with its own set of challenges. Different expectations for the partner, language barriers, and cultural differences can all make communication and understanding more difficult. However, that doesn’t mean that international relationships are doomed to fail.

Speaking of communication, let’s talk about language barriers. Learning your partner’s language can be a great way to bond and show respect for their culture, but it’s not always easy. How much does language barrier affect your ability to bond? Well, that depends on the individuals involved. For some couples, language barriers can be a significant hurdle to overcome.

Another challenge that many international couples face is getting their families to accept their partner. Issues with communication and cultural differences can make it difficult for family members to understand and accept their child’s partner. This can be especially challenging if the family holds traditional or conservative values.

One of the biggest decisions that international couples need to make is where to live and what their long-term goals are. This can be a tough decision to make, as it often involves sacrificing one’s own culture and family ties for the sake of the relationship. However, with clear communication and a willingness to compromise, it is possible to find a solution that works for both partners.

Finally, we’ll be having a free discussion where participants can write questions, thoughts, and concerns anonymously, and we’ll discuss and answer them as a group. This is a great opportunity to delve deeper into any topics that we may not have covered yet and hear from each other’s unique perspectives and experiences.

Duration

We’ll be spending the two hours exploring some exciting and thought-provoking topics. We know that your time is valuable, so we promise to make the most of every minute we have together.

Imagine this: You’re at a networking event, you want to make a good impression, but you’re not sure where to start. That’s where our meeting comes in – we’ll provide a space for you to connect with like-minded individuals, exchange ideas, and build relationships that could last a lifetime.

Whether you’re here to learn, share, or simply enjoy the company of others, we’ve got you covered. Our discussions will be engaging, informative, and, most importantly, fun. So sit back, relax, and get ready to connect with some amazing people. We can’t wait to see where our conversations take us!
