"EXO" released a new song ahead of their comeback.
On the 12th, at 6 p.m., EXO released the pre-released song "Let Me In" along with the music video for their seventh full-length album, titled "EXIST."
"Let Me In" is a dreamy ballad that expresses subtle emotions. It was unveiled during the 11th anniversary fan meeting held in April.
The lyrics are filled with sorrow as they liken the lover to the blue sea. They express a heartfelt desire to be together endlessly, even if deeply immersed.
The song also features the voice of Kai, who recently joined the army. Kai also appears in the music video, adding to the anticipation. The members against a black and white backdrop evoke a deep mood.
In recent events, Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin did not openly disclose their settlement statement with their agency SM. They notified the termination of their exclusive contracts, claiming to have signed a "slavery contract," while SM refuted by stating that "the settlement data was always available."
Amidst the conflict prior to the comeback, Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin stated, "We will not betray the other members, and EXO will remain the top priority in any situation." SM also mentioned that the seven members are preparing for a comeback independently from the conflict with the three members and will do their best to ensure EXO's activities.
EXO is set to make their comeback on July 10th with their first full-length album in approximately three years and eight months since the release of their sixth full-length album, "OBSESSION," in 2019.
