Group EXO will continue to prepare for their comeback despite the ongoing exclusive contract dispute between Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin.
EXO's agency, SM, stated on the 8th, "EXO will be shooting a reality show in Korea as a group."
At Gimpo Airport, EXO members Xiumin, Suho, Baekhyun, Chen, Chanyeol, D.O., and Sehun were seen together.
EXO is currently preparing a new album with the aim of making a comeback in the second half of this year. Originally, the album was planned to be released with the entire group, but only seven members will participate, excluding Kai, who recently enlisted.
On the 1st, Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin officially notified SM of their decision to terminate their exclusive contract, citing a claim of being forced to sign an unfair contract.
In response, SM issued an official statement saying, "We have identified external forces approaching the three individuals and providing them with false information and inaccurate legal evaluations. These external forces are disregarding their exclusive contracts with the company and making unorthodox proposals."
Despite the ongoing conflict, both parties agree that EXO's activities should not be affected.
Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin further stated in an additional official statement, "We value our fellow EXO members above all else. We have spent half of our lives sharing both joys and sorrows with them. We will never betray our members, and we will prioritize EXO in any situation," addressing their fans.
Reportedly, the day after the termination notification, Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin filmed a music video for their new song together with the other members.
